Curry matches LeBron and takes aim at Jordan

The Golden State Warriors were crowned NBA champions once again. The California team closed the Finals series against the Boston Celtics 4-2, and the achievement was special for Stephen Curry, who moved up in the ranking of titles among the greatest legends in league history.

Curry won his fourth career NBA title and tied legends such as LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal.

The list to reach the top is long, and it’s safe to say that Curry won’t reach the top, as Bill Russell’s 11 championships as a player are virtually unreachable.

But even if we’re only going to consider the greatest NBA legends, Curry, at 34 years old, can still move up this ranking and catch up to others.

In 2022, Curry finally won his first NBA Finals MVP. And he came out on top unanimously after a sublime performance in the series against Boston, averaging 31.2 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 48% overall and 44% on three-pointers.

The 34-year-old Finals MVP only further cements himself as one of the best playmakers among the best basketball players in history.
