Bucks’ Giannis questionable Vs Suns

Milwaukee Bucks star power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable for Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, according to the league’s official injury report.

Antetokounmpo missed the Bucks’ last two games because of a hyperextended left knee suffered in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Atlanta Hawks.

Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said Monday that Antetokounmpo was able to do some on-court work separately from the team’s practice, but was listed as questionable for the opening game of the NBA Finals later that night.

When asked what specific drills and movements Antetokounmpo could do without pain, Budenholzer declined to answer.

Without their two-time MVP in the final two games of the East Finals, the Bucks prevailed behind the dominant play of Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez.

Bobby Portis started the two games Antetokounmpo missed, while Middleton scored 64 combined points and Holiday added 60.
