With a hard-fought win after two overtimes in Boston, the Knicks extended their hot streak to nine straight wins on Sunday as Anthony Davis revived the Lakers’ playoff hopes and Kevin Durant beat Kyrie Irving in their first meeting since both left the Brooklyn Nets.

CELTICS 129 – KNICKS 131

Immanuel Quickley (38 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists) was the best of the Knicks in their impressive victory after two overtimes in Boston against a Celtics that lost three of their last four games, two of them against New York.

For the Celtics, the top scorer was Jayson Tatum with 40 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists, although he was not inspired from three-point range (6 of 17) while Dominican Al Horford added 20 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists.

MAVERICKS 126 – SUNS 130

Kevin Durant, with 37 points and 7 rebounds and a double-double key in the result, decided the clash against his former teammate in Brooklyn Kyrie Irving (30 points and 7 assists).

Luka Doncic (34 points and 9 rebounds on a bland 8-of-23 shooting) and Devin Booker (36 points and 10 assists) battled late in the game to add more spice to the recent Mavericks-Suns rivalry.

LAKERS 113 – WARRIORS 105

The Lakers soured Stephen Curry’s comeback and took a pivotal win in their playoff aspirations thanks to 39 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists from a huge Anthony Davis.

Curry, who had missed the last month with the Warriors due to injury, was his team’s leading scorer with 27 points and 6 assists.
