Cavaliers acquire Mitchell from Utah Jazz

The Jazz receive Lauri Markkanen, Ochai Agbaji, Collin Sexton, three unprotected first-round picks and two draft picks in the transaction, sources said.

Sexton will sign a fully guaranteed four-year, $72 million contract as part of a sign-and-trade deal with Utah, Rich Paul told.

Mitchell, a three-time All-Star who turns 26 next week, joins a promising young core of Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen in Cleveland.

Meanwhile, the Jazz remain committed to a rebuild that began in July with the trade of All-Star center Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves for five first-round picks.
